How Does Your Garden Grow?

The Lord God planted a garden eastward in Eden, and there He put the man whom He had formed. Genesis 2:8 NKJV

Upon Adam’s creation, God placed him in the garden.

Perhaps that is why I feel so connected to God when I am out in mine.

Adam was placed in the garden to tend to it and keep it. We are all given things or responsibilities to tend to as well.

We can either nurture them or we can allow them to die from neglect. We don’t always recognize our blessings for what they are as we look around preoccupied with what other people are doing. Yet, in the end, we are often blessed with the harvest when we commit to the prayer and hard work necessary for our “crops” to flourish

Are you an active participant sowing good seed for your future? Or are you okay to just idly watch and accept whatever comes your way?

God gives us choices. It’s up to us to choose wisely.

How does your garden grow?

  1. Hi Lilka! Good post…we can feed our good blessings and make them flourish and fill our lives, or take them for granted and let them pass. It’s all up to us…Steve
