Persistence and perseverance pay off for the ant. How much better are we when we “store our provisions” and gather at the appointed time instead of waiting until we “feel like it” or gamble that another opportunity will arise.
Without someone to tell then when and where, ants manage to work together for a common good.
Ants waste no time.
Ants do now what will prove beneficial later.
We can learn a lot from the tiny ant.
Sometimes wisdom is found in the most unassuming places…
Go to the ant, you sluggard;
consider its ways and be wise!
It has no commander,
no overseer or ruler,
yet it stores its provisions in summer
and gathers its food at harvest.
Proverbs 6:6-8 NIV
